Hi people,
Its me again. Its been too long since my last post. i am sorry for not giving some commitment to my blog. i would love to write more, but there are time restriction and my current studies commitment that i need to prioritize.
So, after my post on August, approximately 4 months later, here i am, writing to you. Truly i have a lot to share with you guys but idk either i can make it to type all once on this night.
Im gonna start with my CONVOCATION DAY !!
yes, you hear it right, its my CONVOCATION DAY after 2y and half struggle for my Diploma, and at last, Alhamdulillah , . I am officially holding a Diploma in Maritime Transportation Management from Netherlands Maritime Institute of Technology. Thank you Allah.
💕 Thankyou NMIT!
I couldn't describe how happy am I. I've been celebrating my graduation days since i was in MRSM before. I've graduated at age of 15 & 17. But the feelings were not the same. the struggle during study was real guys. let me tell you, how many of you are willingly to travel at the age of 13 and trying your best to fit in the community and at the same time to gain for some success.
I've been travel since form 1, went to boarding school till form 5, then continue to stay at Johor Bahru for my diploma and even now, I am not staying with my family. its depressing, seriously. Homesick is still there even though you try your best to not think bout it. During my days at MRSM, my family will come to visit me once in every 2 weeks, and until form 5, when they waved me on their way out, I will cry. hahhaa, how childish am I. trying my best to hide those tears but nahh, I just cant. hahha
I will be lying if I say, I am confident with my decision to further my study at NMIT. i am not confident at all guys. I got few offers from different institution after my SPM 2012, and its too overload. i got offer from UiTM Segamat for Diploma course, a lot of IPTS offers, KPM (Kolej Proffesional Mara) Kedah, Kolej Matrikulasi Melaka (Acc) and etc. hahha, but idk why, i choose to join NMIT after i've attend one of Higher Education Fest at Melaka. Maybe because of their offered courses that attract me? ha, maybe!! But I will never regret my decision. Never in a million years.
So, Alhamdulillah, NMIT is giving me a LOT of great experiences & lessons that I can practiced in this real world. at NMIT, I am not only prepared and served with a LOT of new and interesting KNOWLEDGE, they also trained us to be an independent human, a good citizen, responsible student and a good leader. They open up my way to become a good leader and brush up my talent in leading, presenting and communicating skills. I can proudly say that I am satisfied with my service as one of the Student Representative Council at NMIT when I am the one (with my team obviously) are the pioneer of NMIT in NEW ERA. Our team is making a big different and impact to NMIT when we need to compress and gather all ideas to hold NMITians closely to each other. We are the team that responsible in provide all activities to NMITians and trying our best to give the best lifetime experience to them. i am so proud that our SRC juniors are following the steps and they did so well in changing NMIT to a better college for NMITians.
Apart from great maritime knowledge that I studied for nearly 3 years, I learn a lot on how to survive and be a good human while in NMIT. I met a lot of peoples with good and BAD (they can be VERY BAD too) attitudes, I met my Guardian Angel (my Noel), i am really glad with these experiences. It may turns me upside down because I am not afraid to say that I am once lost through the way to the success ladder, but I've made my way back. I met few friends that worth my time there and I also met few people that waste my time & efforts at NMIT. But, I will never forget any of them. Each one of you, is there, maybe not all in my heart but still, in my memories.
The most important thing that I got from my years at NMIT is, true friends are exist and they are more than friends, they are family. I am gonna start with my 1st year. I am total in culture shock with the environment of IPTS / PRIVATE COLLEGE because i used to live in "penjara" (boarding school) that got a lot (REALLY) of rules and regulations. But here at NMIT, where you live by your own (no accommodation) and nobody is controlling you except you, yourself. haha, it is such a horrible year i might say. I really wanna forget anything and everything thats happen during this year. How i wish, I am much wiser an better, but bad experiences are the evil teacher. So i took some lesson and change for my 2nd year.
During my 2nd year, i start to know what is SRC, and i start to join college's activities. told you kids, healthy living style gonna save you from bad and negative vibes dear. Once I joined these activities, i start to know people and there, i realized that there a lot of things that i can do, things that i never know i can. So this is where i turn to be a better student, and i met my true friends. Some of them are my classmate, my "ISVians's" mate, my SRC team, and also my 'juniors'.
I really wanna thank them for never give up in supporting me through my ups and downs. We fight, we cried, we laugh, we tease, we are so happy with each other presence. one thing i will always say, i will never get their replacement. Thank you for being as part as my life and making me one of the best people for having you all in my life. Thanks to my SC family. Thanks to my housemate (we are like sisters i/o friends, and i love it), Thank you my classmate (9 girls with 40+ boys in class), Thanks to my so called 'juniors' but with same age, thanks to my juniors, Thank you NMITians.
Thanks to my Mom, Sisters and big family for never give up in putting hopes and giving kakak advices through out kakak's diploma years.
Thanks to my special guy for being in my life and choose to be with me. I wont forget how we meet and how do we survive all years at JB together. Thank you for never give up in order to have me in your life and for never judge me on anything.
Thank you lecturers for your never-ending support to all NMITians and giving us the best moment that we will never forget.
